Mencia is a bitch
When Carlos Mencia shot to fame (highlighted by his show 'Mind of Mencia' on Comedy Central), I thought
to myself: 'This is tight, now we have Raza on TV doing what Chapelle does. We got George Lopez
and Mencia.' Turns out George Lopez is the only one representing.
After watching several 'Mind of Mencia' episodes, something had been bugging
me that I could not put my finger on, until recently. The problem with this asshole
is simply that he has no problem throwing out words like "wetback", "beaner",
and "spic". These are words traditionally used by racist Anglos. They're all
derrogatory racial remarks, but the only one I'll let slide is "beaner", because
I've heard plenty raza use it in a non offending way including myself.
Damn right I'm a beaner, straight up frijolero. Why would he go on stage
and use words like "wetback" and "spic" when reffering to Mexicans he interacts with?
When asked about that, Carlos answered something like "I don't care, I make fun
of everyone", so basically 'no one's safe'.
This issue escalated to it's peak in 2006 when the protest marches for immigrant
rights were going on (May 1st). On his little corner on ComedyCentral.com he had
a short video addressing the marches, and he basically told Mexicans to shut the
fuck up, and called them "little people". I saw this on my own before it made news,
and I thought to myself "Awww motherfucking vendido!." That's why I wasn't surprised
when raza made a big deal about it, and he was forced to address it on his show.
He ended up getting mad on 'Mind of Mencia' and going off about how he does so much
for La Raza and no one appreciates it, but if he says one thing hell breaks
loose. Then he went on to say he didn't need Raza support. Well, dumbass,
if you don't need Raza's support and all of your material consists of talking
shit about Mexicans, that means you look like a sellout clown making fun of your own
people on a stage in front of a sole white audience.
Like I said, I figured out part of his approach. The only reason he uses the words "wetback" and "spic" is because it "allows" him to use the words "nigga", "nigger", "sandnigger", "gook", and whatever else you can think of. Actually, just think about it. How many times does he use these racial slurrs? I bet his response is "So what if I say 'nigger'? I make fun of spics too."
As if that wasn't enough for people to turn their back on this idiot, along came some videos showing that he's been taking other comedians' jokes. For real, here's the videos. Not only do they prove he's been stealing shit from Bill Cosby and George Lopez, Joe Rogan called him out that his name is Ned Holden. What the fuck! Fucker aint even Mexican. He's barely half Hondureņo. What a fake ass bitch.
